While partnering with Africa for Jesus, World Race participant Savanna Kandiko and her team were able to serve through community outreach, preaching in the local church, helping to restore the ministry base, and many other opportunities! Savanna shows us what a day in the life looked like through her captivating photos and videos. Check it out!

We had an amazing month in the beautiful Malealea Valley of Lesotho!

During our time in Lesotho, we partnered with a ministry called Africa For Jesus.

We partnered with many different forms of community outreach and helped with restoring areas of the ministry base.

For me, this looked like teaching a few lessons on history, geography and physical education in a secondary school, preaching on our first Sunday morning at church (just two days after arriving!), encouraging and praying over members of nearby villages, giving a plethora of fist bumps to kids on our runs and walks throughout the village, and capturing ministry moments through photography and videography!

We also helped with weeding gardens, cleaning out the church office and cleaning up the preschool in preparation for the students’ return from holiday break.

This video gives you the opportunity to see firsthand what our day-to-day looked like. I hope you enjoy getting to see a glimpse of life on the Race and life in Lesotho. We loved our time in Lesotho and these moments will be cherished for a lifetime to come!! Enjoy!
