“I was in a place that a lot of people find themselves in now, where I knew I needed to do something or go somewhere but college wasn’t it.” These were the feelings Robbie Sanderson, a recent High School graduate, had while praying about his next steps. Instead of starting college classes right away, Robbie began to look at the possibility of taking a Christian gap year. That’s when he found World Race: Gap Year.

World Race: Gap Year is a 9-month mission trip and Christian gap year program dedicated to spreading the love of Jesus Christ and making disciples all around the world. For over 30 years, we’ve been sending young adults to the nations to fulfill the great commandment, to love God and love others.

While on World Race: Gap Year, you’ll live in a real Christian community and work alongside our local ministry partners. “You wake up here and your only goal for the day is literally to spread the love of Jesus,” said Taite Rodriguez, a recent Gap Year participant. We believe that as you see the world and its needs, the good news of Jesus will come to life more than ever before.

By committing to World Race: Gap Year, you’ll grow in your intimacy with God, learn to live in Christ-like community and bring the Gospel to the ends of the Earth. The world needs hope and you have so much to offer. Prepare yourself for the next step in your journey with Jesus—taking a gap year with the World Race.
